The IQAC was constituted in Ghulam Ahmed College of Education in the year 2006 to proactively initiate suitable measures for quality sustenance and quality enhancement..

It has been channelizing all energies and efforts of the college towards attaining holistic academic excellence. Ever since its inception, IQAC has played a crucial role to facilitate attainment of high level of clarity in the functioning of the college towards quality enhancement, internalizing quality culture and institutionalize all best practices, etc. It tries to attain its prime task of developing a system for conscious, consistent & catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the college.
